Pro-Cast Products is just about done shipping approximately 712 Fort Miller's "Super-Slab" road repair panels. These panels are being placed on the 15 freeway near the 60 interchange. Each panel is from 12' to 13' wide and 15' long.

Kaiser Retention Basins

We produced three 10'x12'x45' retention basins for

Pan Pacific Plumbing. These basins were shipped to a new

Kaiser Hospital in Anaheim, Ca. Each piece weighed 34,000+ lbs

and there were a total of 32 pieces.

Performance Motorsports and J & M Racing Score Top West Spot
Performance Motorsports and J & M Racing came away from the NASCAR Toyota All-Star Showdown with a couple of pretty impressive achievements. Running two cars in the NASCAR K & N Pro Series was a major undertaking for the team as they had not run since the last Fourth of July race at Toyota Speedway at Irwindale.
Andrew Myers took charge as he started in the 13th position. An electrical problem then put him a lap down. Andrew moved his way through the field and kept the # 77 Pro-Cast Products, Jan's Towing, A-1 Party Rentals, Toyota of Escondido Camry in position to get his lap back. Getting his lap back proved to be the catalyst that took Andrew to the front. "I knew I had a good car. Justin Holchek made sure that the car would turn and that nothing would fall off it" said Andrew. "That electrical problem had me worried because the car quit running and I couldn't get it to fire." he added. " I'm so proud of my team and share this top five finish with them." Finishing 5th in the race also made Andrew the top finishing west coast car. All this came despite getting outspent by a ratio of 20-1 by all the teams that finish in front of him.
Nick Joanides, driving the # 70 Pro-Cast Products, Eagle Transportation, Jan's Towing, USKO Ford Fusion had to do it the hard way. Racing his way into the field, Nick finished second in the qualifying race on Friday night and started the All-Star Showdown in the 36th starting position. Despite having an ill-handling car Nick was able to stay on the lead lap and pass the most amount of cars earning the "Coca Cola Move of the Race Award." He finished the night 14th. "I want to thank my crew especially Chris Kurisaki and Larry Nava for giving me a car that was able to make the 225 lap showdown and run the whole race."

Soundwall pays off: Residents along Highway 101 say noise has been reduced

Pro-Cast Products has recently completed production of 10,580 square meters of sound walls and 2'x2' tiles using a combination of CSI Concrete Solutions Sound Sorb sound absorbing material and reinforced concrete. Erection of the walls and tiles is still under way but residents along Highway 101 in Marin county say noise has already been reduced.

Santa Fe Springs Fire Fighter Training Center

Pro-Cast Products is proud to assist local emergency response groups. Pro-Cast donates precast structures to be used for advanced rescue training. This picture shows the recently completed "structure collapse prop" located at the Santa Fe Springs Fire Fighter Training Center. Rescue workers will train in the prop simulating a collapsed building search and rescue operation. Pro-Cast Products has donated precast concrete structures to several of Southern California's Fire Fighters since about 1987.

A Variety of Concrete Barriers are Available in California for Highway & Military Applications
K-Rail concrete barriers are used primarily on the highway as a buffer from traffic for construction projects. K-Rail is the standard for concrete temporary barrier for The California Department of Transportation (Cal Trans). K-rail is sometimes left in place at the completion of the construction projects. K-Rail is also used in landslide areas to protect the roadway. There are many other concrete barriers of different sizes & shapes available in Southern California.

Advantages of a Precast Concrete Septic Tank compared to a Plastic, Fiberglass or Steel Tank

The material used in septic tank construction is very important and should be taken into strong consideration when choosing a tank for your project or dwelling. Precast concrete septic tanks offer many advantages over fiberglass, plastic or steel. These advantages include:
Long-Term Mechanical Properties: Precast concrete will actually gain strength over time. Steel or HDPE (high-density polyethylene) will deteriorate and lose strength with time.
